We are not your typical grocery store; however, we are a full-service grocery store. We carry a full line of Hood Milk Products, fresh produce, Ice Cream, soda, spices, health and beauty, summer items, as well as your everyday traditional groceries…(chips, soda, cereals & paper products) .
As the seasons change so do the items, we keep things moving all the time. On your way to the beach? Pick up your lunch, chips, beer, beach chair, cooler full of ice at the same time you pick up your Certified Angus Chuck Patties for the grill for dinner!
No time to cook? Let DPM do the cooking! We currently have over 10 dinner entrees available daily, fully cooked and ready to go. We also have freshly made salads ready to go. Our deli cooks roaster chickens, barbeque ribs, beef ribs, pork loins, meatballs, chicken tenders, hot soups and much more every day. Stop by to see what we’ve been cooking… the menu changes daily.

The Dennis Public Market takes great pride in our award-winning butcher shop. All meat is hand cut from the freshest and highest quality Certified Angus Beef, Pork, Lamb, Chicken, & Fish.
We sell ONLY 100% Certified Angus Beef, Chairman Reserve All-Natural Pork, American Lamb & Veal, Bell & Evans Chicken, and fresh local fish. Angus is everywhere these days. Over the last couple of decades, it’s even become a bit of a buzzword. It’s true. Angus beef is good. But the Certified Angus Beef® brand? It’s on an entirely different level. It defines the standard by which all beef is measured. No shortcuts and with a virtual obsession with flavor and juiciness.
How did those standards come into being? Glad you asked. It’s an interesting story we never get tired of telling. It’s the tale of a group of farmers who, in the 1970s, got together and said collectively, “We can do better. We can produce beef that’s extremely tender, juicier and always packed with flavor.” They then proceeded to set the standards that have become the true mark of quality of an Angus brand. The Certified Angus Beef® brand is a label recognizing the best Angus beef: always tasty, tender and juicy. Other labels may say Angus, but that’s where the similarities end. The brand, established in 1978, is truly a stamp of exceptional quality, and your sign of a great meal. They work with family farmers and ranchers to help them raise the very best Angus beef, and monitor its progress through every stage of the journey. In fact, their bosses are in boots: Certified Angus Beef LLC is a nonprofit organization owned by the American Angus Association ® and its farmer members.
While there is overlap between the U.S Department of Agriculture (USDA) grades of beef and premium brands like Certified Angus Beef®, there are some differences – and their standards have always ensured a great eating experience that goes beyond the USDA Certified Angus Beef grade.
The USDA first inspects all beef for wholesomeness and safety, regardless of the grade or brand it may earn. Then, most beef is graded by the USDA, to give consumers an indication of its quality. The grades of beef you’re likely to see are Prime (the very best), then Choice, then Select. USDA grades are primarily based on the amount of marbling – the small flecks of fat that melt during cooking and deliver flavor and juiciness. Beyond USDA grades, beef may earn the premium Certified Angus Beef ® brand name if it meets all of their 10 quality standards – the most important of which is marbling. Their beef must have at least as much marbling as the very best of USDA Choice or Prime, plus meet their additional requirements – ensuring it is truly a cut above.

The Dennis Public Market is privileged to be the 1st Market of Distinction in Massachusetts awarded from Boar’s Head Provisions. DPM sells 100% Boar’s Head Deli Meats except for our Own Slow Roasted Top Round Roast Beef and Our Slow Roasted Spoon Roast™ sliced to order. Voted best deli and sandwich shop for 18 years in a row is a huge honor.
Our Deli is home to one of the best sandwich shops east of the Colorado River. Chris, our Deli Manager, started 28 years ago and still has the same work ethic today and just loves to take care of our customers! Liquor - Beer - Wine
The Dennis Public Market has a full beer and wine department as well as a seasonal liquor department. We have weekly specials and the coldest beer around. Local winemaker Joe Carr and his wines are easy to find here. You might also see Joe here daily. Great Wine, Great Guy!
We have a huge selection of domestic and imported beers as well as all the newest Micro and Craft Beers.
If you need a Box Wine, Jug Wine, or just a 750ml bottle, we have so many to choose from and you could try a new wine weekly.
